All four teams in the playoff are undesputed conference champions.
The two loss conference champion Stanford was left out, and they were actually ranked below a one loss non-conference champion Iowa.
Iowa was 12-1 and Ohio State was 11-1, that's why Iowa was chosen for the Rose Bowl.
The committee isn't setting a "precedent" by Stanford jumping Ohio State. They won their conference and the Buckeyes didn't.
The committee doesn't have an agenda, the got the four teams that deserve to be there.
I am proud of the 11-1 Buckeyes, and I am not disappointed in the season. Yes, I would have liked to see the Buckeyes make the playoff, but they didn't get it done. They have no one to blame but themselves.
With that being said, this season is NOT a failure.
Now, curb-stomp Notre Dame. Go Bucks!
