the basics:  OSU has a small chance to make the playoffs if Sparty, Southern Cal, UNC and Florida win This weekend.

if no playoffs, OSU's first option would be the Rose Bowl, but the Rose is going to take the highest ranked 2nd place B1G team, so it will depend on the final playoff ranking.  Doug isn't convinced the playoff committee will rank OSU ahead of a 1 loss Iowa even a 2 loss Sparty.  Says he thinks OSU is better than both a potential 1 loss Iowa or potential 2 loss Sparty, but doesn't mean the Committee will rank them ahead.  The Rose is taking the highest ranked B1G team not in the playoff

so, if OSU is left out of Playoff and Rose: OSU will probably go to Fiesta and face Houston (a team that lost to UConn).

so I guess we shall see.
