I'd like opinions on how you buy tickets.  When I was younger I purchased almost 100% of my tickets at the stadium.  Never had an issue but that was pre-internet/reprinted/print at home tickets.  Now I primarily buy online for fear of getting scammed.

This season I purchased season tickets to UMD football to get the OSU game and my wife went to UMD.  We sold most of the tickets online by giving the ticket barcode # to StubHub and were left with the "actual" hard copy ticket.  What's to stop somebody from selling it online and the "actual" ticket?

Do you know of a way to buy tickets at the game (no printer) but be assured you don't get scammed?  If so how do you pay?  I'm not too keen on walking around with  $1000 cash.

I'm considering going to Dallas and I think the face value of $450+ will go down by the time of the game.
