Now that Tom Herman is off to Houston(Buona Fortuna to Coach Herman and his family, best wishes for much success)is TCU OC Doug Mecham available? He took a disgruntled converted WR named Trevone Boykin and transmogrified him into a Heisman Trophy Candidate QB. Schematically he's a fit with UFM and he can recruit TX, which seems to be a requirement. I have no idea who's in the mix to replace Coach Herman, but if Doug Meacham is available, he should be on the short list. BTW, Gene Smith a bump in Assistant Coach Salaries probably wouldn't hurt either, in both retention and attraction of top coaching candidates.
