Purely speculative here, zero knowledge on the situation, but Xavier Thomas, Sage Ennis, and Ajou Ajou all missing weigh-in today is an odd group of 3 to all miss. I wouldn't jump straight to the opting out conclusion.

No official word on Thomas yet, but according to some Clemson boards he is opting out. Ennis and Ajou are Freshman so they aren't big losses but Thomas was expected to be a starting DE for Clemson. Former #3 player in the country.
