Bill Connelly: A Better Future for College Football Players? Here's How to Make It Happen.

Bill Connelly takes a look at the recent PAC-12 players announcement and writes how he thinks we could improve the college football model. In short, he believes we should:

  1. College athletes must be granted restriction-free rights to profit off of their name, image and likeness.
  2. College athletes must be granted negotiation power and basic rights regarding health care and educational opportunity.
  3. College sports must provide proper centralized leadership that governs the sport and faces proper oversight.

I've always enjoyed Bill's work and think this article is definitely worth a read.
