All the talk about Jones and Haskins got me wanting to break down the numbers, so I did.
I'll start with a couple highlights of what I think are fair points and important to know.

Jones worst QBR came against Miami FL (74.1), Clemson (86.7) and Wake (84.7) 2 of those 3 are pretty good teams (Miami ranked #1 for Passing yards allowed, while Clemson #24)In those games Jones went 58/114 (50%) for 433 yards and 1TD/2INTs.
Jones best QBR games came against. Army (193.2) Northwestern (191) and Temple (190.3) where he went 59/80 (73%) 9TD's/2INT's for 812 yards.

Haskins worst QBR's came against Penn St (134.8), Purdue (127.5) and Michigan St (118.9). In those games Haskins went 95/151 (62%) for 967 yards and 6TDs/2INT's.
Haskins best QBR came against Rutgers (229.4) Tulane (262.7) and Michigan (235.7) where he went 61/78 (78%) for 933 yards, 14TD's/1INT.
Next I'll compare both of their games against what is the best competition. Which is Miami and Clemson for Jones and Michigan and Washington for Haskins.

I know stats arnt everything and Jones is getting the benefit of the doubt for basically being the 3rd Manning Brother and since he was coached by Cutcliffe he gets that benefit as well but with that being said, If Cutcliffe is such a QB whisperer where has he been since Eli and Payton? He's been a QB coach/OC/ HC since 1990 and has 3 good QBs? He's had 3 other QB's drafted and essentially none of them have had an NFL career. The best of the 3? Heath Shuler, played 5 seasons and accumulated 3600 yards passing (49% comp rate) 15TD/33INT's.
Take all this for what you will, just figured I'd share some points I found interesting.
