Though he is only 47-50 as a head coach, I think it is a great hire for FSU as he brings new energy to the program. He is a great recruiter, who is well known throughout the state, and will open the Tampa recruiting pipeline to Tallahassee.
I'm not sure if he will bring Mario Cristobal or James Leavitt with him, but he should be able to put together a great, Florida-based staff. He also becomes the first full-time African-American head coach at FSU.
Thoughts?
