My daughter recently did a road trip north from Louisiana and had a few interesting cultural stories from passing through some small towns in Arkansas. This got me thinking about our old friend Bert and how he was doing way down there in the corner of Arkansas, tucked into a holler near the Ozark National Forest, so I went over to the 247 composite rankings to see their progress on the recruiting trail for 2018.

While Bert's team comes in at number 41 with 12 recruits and 87.10 per player ranking, his top recruit is an ILB out of Lucas, TX, named Bumper Pool. I always enjoy unusual names, and this one is certainly unique. He was recruited to Arkansas by Vernon Hargreaves, father of a 5-star DB recruit that OSU pursued a few years ago that eventually signed with Florida.

I am now going to follow the career of this young man, who is clearly destined for greatness, both by his amazing name and by the opportunity to play for one of the most iconic coaches in all of college football. Yes, there are lots of great player names out there (including our own Tuf Borland) even without the lists of Key and Peele, and I was wondering if you have any all-name players you will be following this year.
