Which team do you feel was the most disappointing college football team in the 2016 season?
A few candidates:
Notre Dame- they go from the Fiesta Bowl to 4-8, were a preseason top 10 team.
Michigan State- Preseason top 15. go from playoff participant to 3-9. They went 2-5 at home. They didn't disappoint me, in honor of Conor Cook and Windmill kicker, I'm glad they blew.
Baylor- preseason top 25 team that is 6-5. I'm sure nobody is disappointed that they are struggling. Art Briles's preseason departure had a lot to do with things.
Tennessee- preseason top 10 that was supposed to win the SEC East and challenge Alabama in the SEC, went 8-4, and Butch Jones continues to be average.
Ole Miss- cheated their way to a preseason top 15 ranking, went 5-7 and didn't qualify for a Bowl Game.
Oregon- preseason top 25, went 4-8, miss a bowl game and gave up almost 500 points to opposing teams. Less than 2 years from playing for a National Title, their coach gets fired.
