Purdue announced this week that the entire Buckeye staff will be interviewed for head coach, making our resident "Assistant to the Offensive Coordinator" potentially a very rich man.
While the offensive side of the ball seems like the best place to take one, for some reason it looks to me like Schiano is going to be the first to bolt.(Urban's 2 year deal, notwithstanding) He is too talented to languish as a coordinator in college. Will he take lowly Purdue? That's a whole 'nuther deal, but stay with me here...
If Schiano bolts to the NFL, to Purdue, or elsewhere...
AND Charlie Strong fails to woo the powers that be at Texas (again)
Would you be interested in seeing Strong as a Co- D coach under Fickell?
It would be an interesting reuniting.
