Controversial post--Not 100% certain it's even allowed, but here goes...

You might say "Sir, this is a Wendy's", but; I love this community and appreciate the camaraderie I've been shown and witnessed many of you out there show and receive over the years. 

Have any of you battled a gambling addiction or been around someone who has? I find myself in the bottomless pit that I cannot seem to get a grip on. Strained relationships, work inefficiency, financial ruin; nothing seems to deter me. I know it's bad. I know it's not an effective means of income. Yet, I continue to find myself chasing those losses; determined I will "catch up" or "break even", even. 

So, I am wondering if any of you out there have the same demons or have been around someone who has. What worked? What didn't? Any advice and/or resources?
