If you haven't heard from someone in a long time or know that someone is hurting or experiencing a difficult time this year, please reach out to them. This time of year can be difficult for those in isolation and a simple call, text, or email can mean all the difference between seeing someone tomorrow or never again. 

Today I lost a friend and I'll pour one out for him. I know I could've done more, so I implore you to not fail where I did.
