This is not about a significant event in music but instead about a strange dream today involving music and 11W.

I had a very vivid dream last night about an 11W discussion regarding Rick Danko sitting in with The Grateful Dead after the breakup of The Band.  It was very heated with strong feelings on both sides about his participation.  Kind of like many 11W posts.

My dream didn't include the name of the OP but I know that Grateful and Elk were heavily involved in the debate although I don't know/remember which position each took.  I can understand how the Dead would be in an 11W dream but I have no clue why specifically Rick Danko.

I couldn't get back to sleep without checking to see if Danko ever performed with them.  My research cannot find any evidence of them performing together.  Does anyone here know differently?

Since this is music related, I should at least some music by Danko.  This appears to be his final gig just 6 days before his death.  Ironically, his final performance was in Ann Arbor.
