I have to know my friends, IS IT JUST ME OR ARE YOU OVERWHELMED BY IGNORANT COMMERCIALS ?

Night after night be fore I lay down I watch a little TV, and try to read all the books of the Civil War, I am lost by what commercials insult ones intelligence more GEICO, PROGRESSIVE, or any one of the 20 million drug commercials, commercials that tell us how to take a poop, or commercials that tell us which PeePee pad will keep us dryer........  I definitely believe something has been lost between laws of the FCC, and truth in advertising.  WHY, I dunno, maybe because my first degree was in commercial Advertisement or I am simply losing thought control thanks to some dismal Alien !
