My 61 year old brain is melting. My memory of the Great Blizzard was 9" of snow and -19 degrees and 20 mph winds. Research shows -19 temp on Jan. 17 in 1977 and weeks of bitter cold and many days below zero. Memory is OSU closed on Jan. 17 but no days after that, even though many days were below zero.
I read articles of the Great Columbus Blizzard of 1978, but it didn't have any days below zero.
Has my alcohol addled brain mixed up these two miserable winters trudging up the hill past Larkins Hall to class?
