This is not an official TIMH, as this has nothing to do with history, but everything to do with today.

Too much worry and fury, not enough jamming and ramming, as far as I'm concerned. With that in mind, I've been ruminating on the best debut albums in rock history.

Today may seem dark, yet, if we look to the past, we realize every little 'ting gonna be alright. So, realizing this, what are the greatest debut albums in rock history?

The albums that a fledgling band had their entire lives to write before they made it big. The albums that represent a band in its most pure form, before the record labels, PR men, and groupies got a hold of them.

It doesn't matter if they ever made another decent record, what is the debut album that grabbed your attention and made you say, these cats may be going somewhere?

Guns 'n Roses "Appetite for Destruction" is not up for this debate, as it is too easy of an answer.
