August 2017,  i had an electrician to my house for a repair. I wont go into all of the details, in short order though; he padded his bill by 1.5 hours ($150), I called him out for it, paid his bill, minus the $150. He never cashed my check, I offered to pay him in February 2017 and never heard back from him. He is now taking me to court. Im not sure if it’s small claims, the original bill was $600, the notice i received for court has ballooned to $1000. I live in Oklahoma, btw. Do I need a lawyer? Any of you guys have any legal expertise that may help?
