My girlfriend and I are going for V-day weekend. Any suggestions on what to do while there? We're staying at the Double Tree hotel. Are there better places to stay?

Not sure if I want to go into Pigeon Forge. Seems like a tourist trap. But if you have recommendations, then I'd like to hear them.

Any restaurants you would suggest?

Anything about the Smoky Mountains you want to share?

Trying to make it as fun of a trip as possible for 3 days.
