I am getting married in August of next year. I did my best to honor Ramzy's magnum opus, but there is a chance my wedding will occur during a Cleveland Browns preseason game. Not surprisingly, we are now in the process of hiring vendors. We have the dress, location (in NJ), DJ, and looking at printers, photographers, and florists. 

The question I have is what is a reasonable cost for flowers?  My cap on flowers was $4,000 but the first florist gave us a bid of $7,100.   

Any wisdom on wedding costs?  

On a positive note, the only beer that will be served at my wedding is 4-5 different Great Lakes beers. Maybe one cheaper beer for those who dislike Great Lakes.
