This morning, as I was mentally preparing for work, three random thoughts came into to my mind. Not sure why, but I wanted to share:
- I no longer like the Blind Side. I used to love that movie, but I just realized that the whole flick rests on a faulty premise. The movie starts with the NCAA investigating Oher and goes back in time from there. The investigation was looking at Oher's motive for picking Ole Miss, as the NCAA suspected that the school or a booster might have been providing impermissible benefits. But those rules don't apply to SEC schools, right? Right? So, the movie is a fraud. Also, Nick Saban is described in the movie as a "handsome man." Yuck.
- The good guys currently have the longest winning streak in CF. If all goes according to plan, we'll surpass our previous streak before even getting to the semis. I can't wait until the haters start saying, "yeah, but WHO have they beaten?" And then they'll feel stupid as they realize that we spanked CF's love child (Bama), as well as the new kid on the block that everyone thinks is all that and a bag of potatoe chips (Oregon). Oh yeah, we also took care of a few other ranked teams--including a top ten Sparty in EL.
- My Christmas tree is still up. I used to think that I was lazy, but now I realize the real reason I left it up. Every year I say that NSD is like Christmas to me. My subconscious got the best of me this year, so I actually have a tree to celebrate tomorrow's gifts from UFM.
That's it.
