Coaches Poll: Ohio State Falls to No. 8

The Buckeyes took a fall in this week's Coaches Poll.

Following the home loss to the Spartans, Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes have dropped six spots in the Coaches Poll, as they now check in at No. 8.

Clemson retains the No. 1 spot and has distanced themselves from Alabama, the new No. 2. Kirk Ferentz and the Hawkeyes jumped up three spots and are now ranked third. The Spartans also jumped three spots to No. 6 after their road victory in Columbus. 

Tom Herman's Houston squad dropped seven spots following their first loss of the season at the hands of UConn.

With the Badgers falling out, the Big Ten now has five teams ranked in the Coaches Poll.
