Ohio State completed its 2026 recruiting class on Friday by securing the class’ top-ranked wide receiver.
After signing 26 prospects on Wednesday and Thursday, the Buckeyes secured their most important commitment in the class when five-star wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. announced he would stick with his commitment and sign with Ohio State. Henry delayed his signing by two days in the wake of South Florida hiring Brian Hartline as head coach, but ultimately decided Ohio State was where he wanted to be.
Henry’s signing keeps Ohio State on track to remain “Wide Receiver U” and headlines what we think is a strong 2026 recruiting class for the Buckeyes even though Henry is the only composite five-star in the class. From highly ranked four-stars like Cincere Johnson, Sam Greer and Blaine Bradford to potential hidden gems like Brock Boyd and Jamir Perez, Ohio State’s 2026 class is full of quality players at every position who also fit the culture Ryan Day’s built in Columbus.
