A Disappointment For The Outgoing Players

The Vest, perhaps inspired by a recent Rob Oller column, has decided to speak to the Dispatch's Tim May. During the discussion, Tressel was at his senatorial best, answering questions, without revealing too much. What he did say, however, may have been just what the "shareholders" needed to hear.

On his feelings about the outcome of the game:

My biggest feeling is for the (outgoing players) who will never get to play here again. They had to have their last ballgame be a disappointment like that. The rest of us, fans included, they get to scream again, and we get to play again, and we get to coach again. And those people that don’t get to play again, that’s where the largest disappointment lies.

On how the loss affected him personally:

Like anything, I believe you have to learn from it, analyze it, and you have to press on and go to work. If you let it affect you, then all of a sudden it will affect your future performance.
