A pair of former Buckeyes playing for the Houston Texans made some plays Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers.

In an ironic twist of fate, Texans linebacker John Simon victimized his former Buckeye teammate, 49ers running back Carlos Hyde, when Hyde fumbled a first quarter rushing attempt. Simon scooped the ball and sprinted 41 yards for the opening score of the game.

Rookie wide receiver Braxton Miller made his mark as well. Early in the fourth quarter, Texans quarterback Tom Savage dropped back and connected with Miller for a 24-yard reception.

Miller laid out to make the catch, too. Late in the third quarter, Miller had recorded four receptions on six targets for 34 yards.

As of this writing, the Texans lead the 49ers, 17-13.
