Despite playing for Maryland, I think he made the right choice. He is making plays for a bad team. He has gotten noticed and is building a good rep on the field.
His highlight tape last year blew me away, I was disappointed to hear he was going to Maryland (though happy he didn't choose Florida).
The one positive to me, though, is I feel like Marshon Lattimore from 2014 reminds me a lot of him--and we have a very good shot at Lattimore. If we add Maryland to the B1G I guess we'll get to see a lot more of him as well, haha.
Sure coulda had a heckuva career here playing for a team that actually gets national recognition and plays on the national stage. Maryland isn't even going to a bowl and they didn't have a post-season ban! He'll still have a chance at the pros as the NFL will find you no matter where you play if you're good enough, but it is just sad for me to see kids with that kind of talent play for such a crap team by choice.
Winning does matter to kids. I think he has moments of 'what' if, also. I don't think he realized just how bad this coach and team were when he committed. It was a spur of the moment, emotional response to the basketball game that called out his name and made him feel the 'love'.
train2416 , not only that he as more receiving yards than our #2 and #3 WR's put together alog with the same amount of TDs. Not so bad for a freshman eh!
Yesterday really made me upset we didn't get Diggs... it seemed like our receivers couldn't get separation to save their (and Braxton's) lives. Coverage sacks made me cringe.
I do like your comment @Hail, but obviously there will be no upvoting for you this week. I'm sure you understand. Good luck to this kid. He made a big, personal decision and he's certainly making the most of it.
I am not convinced they are as bad as they seem. They are using a linebacker at quarterback right now. After O'Brien left they had a ton of injuries at QB and had no choice. They are on the right track if they can get the QB situation sorted out. We'll see if they give Edsall a chance now that they can afford to fire him.
Yea it was awesome and he's only a freshman. Wait til they get a qb that gets him the ball better.

He is everything and more as predicted...

So if Maryland joins the BiG Ten we'll have to see Diggs once a year. Yay!-_-
Just the thought of him on the Buckeye offense makes me cry.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
He would have been awesome to have he's leading Maryland in receiving I believe

Wished we could've gotten him. He was the #1 guy I was hoping for in recruiting. Glad he's doing well.
