Read online today that Jamie Wood is giving up football because of his chronic shoulder injuries. I wish this kid luck in whatever his endeavors may be.

Sad too hear, hopefully everything works out for him and he's able to get his degree and succeed.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
This was said by Coach Meyer on his call in show. Best of luck to Jamie!
Sorry to hear, good luck Jaime.
The 2009 class that keeps being erased like that picture of Marty Mcflys family in back to the future.

Im at class & cant pull up the roster for some reason. was Jamie a Junior or Senior? & will this open up another schollie for 2013 class if he is a junior?
but most important best of luck to Jamie!
#Buckeyes
Junior.
@Jason...
lol
Great kid, luckily being an ex football player in Columbus with a solid degree will allow him to go far
Wow, I hate to see guys go out like this. It makes that 20-22 class size start to look legit, too. I have two questions: 1. Do guys who go out medical still get any perks or special treatment as when they played? 2. Is this (and TY) a coincidence considering how big this recruiting weekend is?
Best of luck to Mr. Wood on whatever he undertakes next in life.
Sad, 5-star player coming in. Never made it beyond a special teamer.
vacuuming sucks
Good luck Jamie!
I didn't think Jamie was a 5-start player. He was a solid special teamer and from what I can tell, a good all-around Buckeye. Hope he does well in the future.
Edit- *Meant to say 5-star.
Maybe he was a 4-star. I believe he was a top 5 or 10 safety nationally though.
vacuuming sucks
J.MO, I think what Meastro meant was he was a 5 star recruit, and big things were expected of him. He is a nice kid. I believe his class standing is a senior, so he probably is on track to graduate this year.
Hope nothing but the best for this young kid. Go Bucks!
Good luck to Jamie and thank you for being a great Buckeye
I think Rivals was really high on him and had him a 4 star prospect. Top 10 safety.

Wood was a 4 star according to Scout.

Just read on the twitter updater thing on the main page he wants to come back as a grad asst. Good luck to him, hope he gets to.
I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.
Yep best of luck to the kid. Thanks for being a Buckeye!
Bummer... I knew he had a shoulder issue, but was hoping he could recover. Good luck to a fellow Pickerington-er!!!
