As it was leaked out yesterday, 2013 Voorhees (NJ) Eastern CB Eli Woodard messaged me and told me he would be visiting Ohio State next Thursday through Saturday. I am talking to Eli again today and will have more to add later on.

Any DB that likes picking off hurried, off target backfoot duck throws, caused by intense defensive front 7 pressure, would find OSU attractive for the next 4 seasons.

From what I've heard, it's a three day visit and he doesn't plan on comitting to OSU during it. It seems like he's a HEAVY Ohio State lean.

He scared me for the first time yesterday, re-tweeting a Michigan fan. Normally he has only retweeted Buckeye fans.

I've been following him for a while, he seems like a real good kid.

Alex would the staff take a commitment following his official visit to campus next weekend? Is there a good possibility that he'll commit in the near future. You said "he's all buckeye" so thats why im curious. Would like to lock this recruit up early. Obviously we're in need of some more DB's & this would be a great addition to the secondary. If you don't mind sharing your thoughts man that'd be great.

This is a high character guy that I want on the team. Looks very competitive, great closing speed, and humble. My favorite part of this video is at the beginning check out my teammates Tyrone Thompsons reel. Very nice to see he puts others before himself. I was very excited to hear he's an OSU lean. Go Bucks!

JShene-I think the staff would DEFINITELY take his commitment. I don't think Eli is ready to pull the trigger publicly just yet, but this kid will probably end it before summer and it will be Ohio State.

I think OSU ends up with Woodard, Day, Burrows at CB and I think there's a good shot they land Dymonte Thomas for safety

Idk Mich faithful seem very confident in keeping Thomas. I know we have the family connect and all, but he was saying some pretty strong stuff even after Urban was hired.

Dymonte never orginally comitted to OSU, and I dont think he's really said any smack talk yet.

I think TheBaDowl meant committed to Michigan and flip to OSU in regards to Kalis (the opposite)
I think, from talking to Eli this weekend, this visit could be the one he pulls the trigger....it's only a matter of time :)

I truly believe Dymonte Thomas will be a photo finish and it could go either way...have to like OSU's chances though, especially from where they were months ago...watch the visit to OSU be "to visit Bri'onte" and then it turns in to "I bumped into coaches"...slowly but surely another visit happens just to "check things out and be sure of my decision"....then a "it's still Michigan but thinking about OSU"...then "opening up my commitment"...then "signing with OSU"....watch :)

Alex is a GOLD MINE for info. This class is gonna be OUTTA CONTROL with talented athletes. I'm really looking forward to closing out with Diggs on Friday then focusing solely on this 2013 class. It's gonna be exciting.
