Spoke to Alliance Marlington ATH Dymonte Thomas:
- Said he is still 100% on Michigan
- Said he may visit OSU to visit his brother and cousin (Bri'onte Dunn)
- Committed to Michigan because he loved the campus and at the time they were "the only school showing him love". Also mentioned coaching staff treated him and his family very well
- Says Bri'onte is actively recruiting him to OSU
- His goals for this year are to lead his team to a state championship. His goals for college are to graduate college with a degree from the business school
A really classy kid and it wouldn't be fun to root against him if he ends up a Wolverine. Urban Meyer will work this one to the very end, as will Bri'onte Dunn. I wouldn't be surprised if Thomas is a Buckeye next Signing Day, but it will definitely take some work. The good news is he is open to visiting (even if he says it's only to visit family) and that Bri'onte is in his ear.
HIGHLIGHTS:

See you in Nov every year kid. Hope your cousin doesnt truck you too bad comin down hill.
Run_Fido's favorite word is strawman.
Thanks for all your great work Alex!!
Hope Bri'onte and Urban can work some magic in the coming months.....
BuckeyeJason...you may see him all 12 months in Scarlet and Gray...hard to bet against Meyer here
Hard to bet against Coach Meyer and Bri'onte...
If I had to put money down right now I would wager that he is a Buckeye come signing day next year.
I'd love to see him at OSU, but no matter what good luck to him. Seems a good kid.
I'm confused. brother and cousin? :) I'm assuming that Bri'onte is just the cousin and he has a brother at tOSU as well?
Urban Meyer wants this kid. Bad! Expect a full court press on him! My money is on Meyer! He is -4 if he stays @ Tsun
yes he has a brother as well....should read brother and cousin, Brionte Dunn
No way he goes to UM with so much family here. That's more intense than Cam and Armani
I still feel like this kid will stick with Michigan, would be really nice to take him away, hopefully more comes out later that changes my mind.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
It makes sense that Dymonte is currently w/ scUM...I was shocked when I heard that Dymonte Thomas was told not to come down for the spring game last year, even with the fact that he was going to be coming down on HIS OWN DIME. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, F*** Jim Bollman.
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
we should encourge the best players to commit to scum then flop the day of loi. Leaving michigan with a terrible class.
Yes please.
I bet after this season - when OSU wins double-digit games and scUM is just about .500 ... his change of heart will be solidified.

It's hard to get a read on this kid.
BUCKS43201, what makes you think Mich will be close to .500 next year? I think they have a very good chance of repeating this year's success, except for that last game in November, of course. It'd be really hard to see them winning fewer than 8 games. And, of course, they are recruiting well again, so it looks like they'll be a team to reckon with for the forseeable future.
That being said, if Dymonte goes there, I could still see him losing to us every year he's there, haha.
I think Michigan goes 9-3 or 8-4 :
wishful thinking. They probably will go 8-4 ish. But, I would love to seem them go .500.

I dson't know about the huskers. Bo's job is on the line, but tsun will find a way to lose another.

Dantonio is Tress 2.0. (not to imply he includes any improvements). He gets MSU to beat UofM every year. I'd switch the MSU game to an L because of it. But I think UofM wins at Nebraska and wins at ND. So I'd say 9-3

Might as well mark that ND game up as a win for Michigan. ND has found a way to lose the last three years.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
I'm curious to see what happens with UM and Hoke when they lose Denard. People forget that they're still essentially running the Rich Rod offense. Does Hoke know how to run an offense? That obviously won't be this year, but I'm curious about UM's decline after Denard leaves.
I don't think they will have any issues with their offense in years to come. Check out the stud coming to play QB in 2013, Shane Morris .
Shane Morris belongs on Jersey Shore. Noah Spence will break him.
True I could see him on Jersey Shore and Spence will probably have his way with him, but you can't deny the kid's a good QB prospect.
^I've only seen this highlight film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiUmdjN12eo
And I don't mean to down a (I'm assuming) 17 year old kid, but his arm-strength and accuracy look really average to me in that (about 50-60% of those balls were wobbling the whole way there). He does seem mobile for a kid his size though. Wish him the best!
And we all know TTUN's recievers are good for a drop or two (or four or five) so that won't help his accuracy any.
We're figuring that Shane Morris is the best All-Macomb County QB since Craig Krenzel...
Thought at one time Hoke was telling his verbals not to talk to another school unless they were ready to go out the door to that school. That wasn't very long after he nabbed Kalis and people were talking about him maybe flipping back to OSU. Hoke was very cocky then as OSU was still twenty something in the rankings and UM was 2 or 3. Anyone else recall this?
So pretty much count on the defense...
O H I O is the Buckeye State
