Reeves Rumors Not True

Urban was not "late". I just confirmed Meyer, Fickell, and Vrabel showed up when they were supposed to, while Withers came earlier in the day as planned. The Bucks brought the heat with the four power coaches in this one and the visit went well. I personally think Reeves has decided where he wants to go and the Mattison visit won't change that. I expect a decision by the end of the weekend and it will be OSU or Michigan. My personal opinion is it will be Ohio State, but I would say I'm 65/35 on that right now. Will try to talk to Armani himself later today.

The Williams family was there at the visit too, I think they really really want Reeves to attend OSU with Cam.

I truly hope he commits. Not so I can say "Up y**rs scUM", but just so he can be a part of the special class and special next couple of years that Ohio State is building. I could really care less about tsun football program, but the academics are both highly regarded. Wherever he goes, I am sure the academic aspect will be high for him, but I think that he would have a more special fit in tOSU, IMO. Either way, he is going to choose from two institutions that hold academics in a different light, which is always good for athletes... always.

Having the Williams there could go either way. I like it, but if Reeves has a stubborn streak in him I can see it pushing him further toward scUM.

I feel like he going to commit to OSU. His best friend is already committed, a post earlier on 11w cited an article that said we have his exact major and tsun doesn't. I feel like the only thing going against us is that he could get more early playing time at tsun verses tOSU at DB. We have Howard and Roby coming back, with Doran Grant waiting for Howard to graduate. Although I don't know the talent that tsun has coming back I would say he probably got more of a shot there competing for immediate PT at DB rather than just pure special teams

@Dubjay... on the academic note, Armani has stated that tOSU has is preferred major... don't know what it is, and don't know if scUM DOESN'T offer it, just that he only stated that we did... take that for what you will

Rampage, yea i saw that, just saying, in general, both are pretty good academic choices. But the key is the 'exact major' that tOSU has, per BUCKININ's post on a dif thread

It has to be a tough decision. Excellent universities, great traditions, storied programs, top tier coaches, and quality educations. Hopefully he picks us.
