According to several reports, including this one:
Tyler Davis is listed at 6-feet 10-inches, 285 pounds and plays on the same AAU team as recent Buckeye commit Mickey Mitchell. Judging by Davis' size, you can expect him to be a powerful post presence and he is. ESPN's scouting report says, "Davis is a wide body post player who has made great strides in a short period of time. He has lost over 35 pounds and plans to continue to drop weight. Davis has excellent hands, touch, feel and patience with his post moves, mostly scoring over his left shoulder..."
Future150's scouting report lists his strengths as "a big time post player, who gives true meaning of power player. He is extremely light on his feet for a player his size. He can score both inside and out. He has a nasty drop step to go along with a up and under move that is pretty much unstoppable. He plays with a good motor and never gives up on a play. He is an elite rebounder on both ends of the floor." His weakness focuses on conditioning issues.
