Eleven Dubcast 10: Mr Willis of Ohio

Yeah...

Johnny takes cough syrup; Luke takes his dignity and flushes it down the commode. Lean back, crank up the volume, and roll with the Du-du-du-DUBCAST *IN STEREO*.

Fearless leader Jason hops on to break down Ohio State hoops and look ahead to the future of Buckeyes basketball. Our dynamic duo are next joined by Purdue blog extraordinaire Hammer and Rails' Travis Miller. Travis talks about Ohio State's huge forthcoming clash with the Boilermakers and discusses whom to watch when the two sides go head-to-head. Finally, SBNation.com's Andy Hutchins gets on to talk college hoops from a national vantage point and to talk about a few sides that may be flying under the radar. All this and Andy Rooney. Tune in, won't you?

About 2:00 in when you talked about Hutchin's blog. At least that's what I got out of it.

He said "rap" not "rock."

Andy's musical review twitter is called RockabyeReview which may have prompted the confusion. It's a loose homage to former Florida Gators safety Reggie Nelson though, so maybe he deserves a swift boot to the ass.

With Kansas, Texas, and Pitt losses we should be a unanimous number one on Monday with a win against Purdue tomorrow. Heck, we may be number one even with a loss tomorrow.

Which is why I'm a little concerned about tomorrow. If we keep our focus, we'll be fine.

Texas is string, but man, they have lost to two pitiful teams in USC and now Nebraska. Really makes you wonder how tough they will be come tourney time. At one point, I thought we'd face them for the rights to cutting down the net come March/April.

I think we can beat anybody in the country when we are on. That said, Texas is good. They scare me the most. They play great defense, they got a great player who is so dynamic that maybe Lighty could slow down/not stop, but he would eat Craft alive. They got inside presence. They'd be a tough match-up for us.

They did try everything in their power to give that game away yesterday though and they were successful. They made up 11pts in like 35 seconds. Still lost.

Nebraska's a fringe tournament team (18-8), but good lord, that SC loss (particularly the margin by) is bad news bear. I've been saying for a while Texas' entire post-season fate is contingent on Jordan Hamilton. If he shows up wanting to impose his will, Texas can cut down the nets in H-town. If mentally checks out like he did yesterday, the Sweet 16 or Elite 8 is their ceiling.

Texas and Kansas have been the two most overrated teams this year.  I doubt either would finish in the top 4 of the Big East.

Everyone's been scared of Texas once they stopped playing real teams in their non-conference schedule, and started playing weak Big 12 teams.  Be prepared for both team to crumble once March rolls around.
