It was nice to see ESPN- College Gameday completely forget about the Ohio State- Iowa game with the rose bowl on the line. But yet every SEC game had a prediction. Not surprising at all.

I normally don't get opinionated with anything regarding gameday or predictions/opinions/etc.
Not even predicting or spending quality time on a matchup for a guaranteed BCS bowl was disgusting. Obviously if Stanzi was still around and they were still unbeaten it would've gotten attention. Isn't the case and the general lack of concern or even credibility is alarming. Don't take Iowa for granted.

This was supposed to be a rebuilding year. The team exceeded expectations (be honest). Tressel may not be flashy, but they win year after year. Some of you seem to forget our record against UM (remember the Cooper years). I agree some new ideas on offense would be great, but Tressel is a great coach and I hope he stays for a long time.

That was vintage Tressel Ball party people! Iowa brought it. Hats off to them. What an exciting college football game (their running back was from the intramural league, right?) Thoroughly enjoyable. I confess that I am not a Tressel ball fan, but you really can't f*ck with what went down tonight. Just a great game. Little bit of everything. And, to top it off, we're goin' to the Rose Bowl! I will reserve judgement on the season until after that, but I'm pretty sure we glide in A2 next week, then, we takes our chances against a team other than 'SC. But , proud of the boys, so, kindly reserve from hatin' for the night for goodness sake!
Look, I'm not making any excuses for Tress. However, as the fourth quarter played itself out and I was being reminded of Texas and SC, something happened. We...won. On blogs, people questioned our resiliency and whether or not we could hang with a team as battle tested as Iowa. The 2007 and 2008 versions of the Buckeyes would've folded, what with JL making 12 tackles 5 yards upfield and Boone doing his best swinging gate impersonation. We were far from perfect today, but we're only getting more battle tested. Unlike in seasons past, we will be MUCH more prepared for the fight that we will face in a BCS game. I know TresselBall isn't perfect, but for the first time in years the OSU/Horseshoe magic made an appearance.
