With offers from Florida, FSU, Va Tech, LSU, Georgia, etc., this is a very impressive pickup. Makes other Big Ten teams' fans' getting excited over recruiting seem pretty pathetic in comparison.
Huge, huge get. We obviously still have pull with "southern athletes", no matter how much SEC fans want to deny it.
When I saw who all offered I had to laugh. The first words coming out of an SEC fans mouth will be something like ,"oh! well hes garbage anyway. He couldn't hack it in the SEC". Shut up!. I do agree it is nice to see the buckeyes continually get good talent from the south.
OSU has made huge inroads in florida recruiting, i forget exactly who is involved, but i know one of our coaches has strong ties down there, and there are a few major HS coaches down there who love Ohio State and spread the good word.
And Urban Meyere is saying, "Damn, my quarterback after Tebow won't have anyone to throw to!"
I agree guys with the assessment that we have been doing better in Florida! The last couple of recruiting classes we have gotten at least three. Carter, Hyde, Berry. Before that Sabino, johnson, Howard. The year before Rolle, Scott(long gone). This year JT and Co. have really pushed hard in the state, although I think we will do a lot better next year when we have more schollies to give!
Allegedly the gatorz had a couple of other WRs on their list and kinda cooled on him. So he is coming here.
Its a nice get no doubt, now we need to get another 2-3 from the Sunshine State.
Great get! Thought to be UF bound I thought it was still a long shot even though he didn't attend FNL last week
Just watched him on youtube! Very fast and going to be tough to cover on a slant pattern.
And Brewster too!
There seems to be some ugliness between Urban Meyer and James Louis, since he was previously a verbal. Not a silent verbal, but a verbal made to be silent:

Urban Meyer is a piece of shizzy. Forget the talk of him one day succeeding Tressel, I wouldn't want this assbag if he coached for free.
I love having guys who are pissed off at the gators and the sec.
seconded. hopefully he gets a chance to shove it up floridas @ss while here
you guys think SCum would take a crack at him? Especially if he don't work out this year???
You think he will stay at wide out, or will he move to Corner, He put up some good stats on defense to. I think its win win where ever you put him. good solid athlete.
Louis plays WR. I would bet as of right now!
That is a bad situation Urban put him in. Of course, the paper is trying to put a spin on it, and make him look bad. Also, after browsing through that paper, it seems as if they have a few issues with HS football down there.
Q: who is the bigger douche now, Richt for what he did, or Meyer?
I thought i'd like him to be the Vest's replacement in a few years, now I am not so sure.
update me, what did richt do?
I believe they are referring to the entiere Georgia team end zone dance in 07, but I've been wrong before.....
eh, i thought that was pretty cool. ususally, if it pisses urban off, i like it.
No, that's not it BRB with the story...

Pretty f*'d up. I have no problem with pulling an offer, but have class. And googling him, he is supposed to be a hard core Christian. Say what you want about religion having no place on the field, alright, cool no problem, but you win and lose with class and dignity. Tressel may have been humilated in big games recently, but he isn't a hypocrite like Richt.
(I don't advocate moral victories, btw).
Okay here is a dumb @$$ question for you fine folks still living in the CO... if I want Buckeyes directly from Buckeye grove, is there a company or point of contact I could get them from??? I need to make a new necklace, and may or may not be there anytime soon.
Go to AJC.com they talk about all the teams in south offering way too many scholarships. Maybe this will come back to haunt the SEC.
Anyone catch the article in SI about Korey Stringers son - he's 11- 5'9'' and 240 lbs. Lives in Atlanta. And yes he's playing football. I still hate the Vikings!
Good for Korey's son. It must be tough on his Mom, though.
Thirded....I said that from the get-go, when we had a post about who succeeds Tress. Urban needs to stay the hell away from C-bus!
