Buckeye Cruise for Cancer 2017 raises $2.5 Million

The Buckeye Cruise for Cancer returns to American shores on Thursday. The five-day cruise departed Feb. 25 and hit spots like CocoCay and Nassau while spending the rest frolicking through the Caribbean Sea.

It included everyone from Urban Meyer and Ezekiel Elliott to Rascal Flats to thousands of fans like you see in the picture above.

All in all, it raised $2.5 million for cancer research.

The funds will be divided between the Urban & Shelley Meyer Fund for Cancer Research and The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.

For comparison in how the cruise has grown, it broke a record in 2014 by raising $1.5 million.
