They asked Conan once, what is best in life? Ever the Barbarian at heart, he replied, "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women."

And you know, it's pretty hard to argue with that, really.

But since we don't really do the crushing and driving of enemies in modern society with the same elan as did the Cimmerian warlord, I am taking it as an article of faith that there is a special circle of hell reserved for the scammers of the world. You know, the ones who call little old ladies and con them into shipping a box of small-unmarked bills, or the people who blow up your text messages wanting to buy homes you haven't lived in for four or five years?

This week one of those special people tried to wheedle our friend and colleague Kevin "just buy me Arby's" Harrish into slipping him some Apple gift cards using none other than the good name of Brian Hartline. Naturally, this aggression could not go unchallenged, and our man rose to the occasion, creating some classic #content in the process. While not quite as sophisticated as shipping the scammers a glitterbomb and calling the cops, it was nonetheless a satisfying way of turning the tables on a societal blight.

Oh, and how 'bout those NFL Playoff games last weekend, huh? A Buckeye-heavy Bengals team took care of business and Nick Bosa made Aaron Rodgers' life miserable; you had to love that. We'll talk about Buckeyes in the NFL this week, and take a look at some trends that have early-entrants into the NFL Draft sitting at a nine-year low.

We'll also talk Buckeye basketball and wrestling, so stick around for that.

Plus, Ask Us Anything (which, as always, you can do by emailing us at dubcast@elevenwarriors.com) asks how we'd feel about Harbaugh to the Bears, what #teen trends baffle us, and how we really feel about Larry Johnson's amazingness.

RUN OF THE SHOW

0:00 What a weekend of NFL Playoff games – holy smokes. And when did the Bengals become a playoff team???

05:25 Eli Apple had quite a day on the field, and then completed his incredibly entertaining heel turn on Twitter. Nick Bosa, meanwhile, ate Aaron Rodgers' lunch and the world couldn't get enough of Rodgers' misery.

18:27 Ohio State updated its NIL guidelines this week, in the process noting that the program is tops in the country in NIL money earned by Buckeye athletes. With early-entrants to the NFL Draft at a nine-year low, how much of that is due to NIL money?

23:09 The Buckeyes had some great moments this season, and we discuss our favorite plays and most-impressive performances of the season.

32:25 Kevin Harrish got a text from someone claiming to be "Brian Hartline" and hilarity ensued. Love it when the scammers get got.

36:25 Ask us anything! Will Harbaugh to the Bears keep us from rooting for Justin Fields, things "the kids do these days" that baffle us, and one listener asks if Larry Johnson is merely a product of generational talent or if he's really as great a coach as we think he is.

49:19 Quick Cals: Ohio State's basketball team sees another game cancelled due to COVID in Nebraska, and Ohio State's wrestling team turned in some strong performances last.

And that'll do it! Thanks as always to Travis for the cool, cool logo, thanks to you for listening and checking out the Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next week!
