If y'all thought your Thursday was difficult...

Word of the Day: Deplore.

TWO-SPORT STAR. Ronnie Hickman has been one of the more surprising breakout stars of this season, but it turns out, he could have been starring in a completely different sport for the Buckeyes.

When he began playing sports, he gravitated toward two of them — football and lacrosse. He became a high school All-American lacrosse player as well as star receiver and safety at DePaul Catholic High School in Wayne, New Jersey.

Hickman was recruited in both sports, which in Ohio State’s case meant it was a choice between Meyer and Myers — football coach Urban Meyer and OSU lacrosse coach Nick Myers.

“Once I realized that I could take it to the next level as far as football and looked at the pro situation in lacrosse and compared to the football, it was kind of a no-brainer to go with football,” Hickman said.

That's great, but how's his dodgeball game?

BUTKUS LOADING. I'll be straight up with you – when Steele Chambers switched positions from running back to linebacker just a couple weeks before the season, I thought the next time I wrote his name on this website would be when he inevitably entered the transfer portal.

I was an idiot.

The funniest part about this entire situation is that a dude who was playing running back two months ago has done so well that he's essentially forced two senior linebackers into the transfer portal in the middle of the season.

I don't know if it says more about Chambers or the state of the linebackers room right now that a converted running back played the second-most snaps of any linebacker last week, but as long as there are results I'm not going to complain.

SEEMS GOOD! If you told me about three months ago that Ohio State would have the nation's two best offensive tackles four games into the season, I would have believed you without a second thought.

But hand up, I never would have guessed one of them would be Dawand Jones.

I was admittedly extremely skeptical when they decided to move Thayer Munford inside this season because switching the position of a preseason All-American and potential first-round pick right before the season seemed like needless tinkering.

But honestly, if the move results in you *still* having the two best offensive tackles in the country, why the hell not?

REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD. Imagine trying to explain this photograph to somebody three years ago.

Joey B obviously got the final word over his old college coach here, leading The World Famous Cincinnati Bengals to a 24-21 comeback victory.

SONG OF THE DAY. "Believe" by Cher.

NOT STICKING TO SPORTS. A squirrel hides gallons of nuts in a man's truck... A missing man joins a search party looking for himself... An artist sold blank canvases for $84,000 and titled them "Take the Money and Run"... The moon is leaving us... The sad story of the vintage train rotting in the Tennessee woods... How radioactivity unlocked deep time...
