How jacked is Urban Meyer about a Saturday night under the lights in Piscataway? This jacked:

ICYMI:

NOT ALL AUSSIE PUNTERS. It was a bad weekend for some Australian punters in college football, but one son of the Outback was there to save face.

Cameron Johnston has been a weapon for Ohio State this season. There's just no other way to describe his play.

From Cleveland.com:

First series Saturday, the Buckeyes started at their 22, lost a yard in three plays, and Johnston unloaded a 56-yard punt that forced Penn State into a fair catch. If he drops in something like a 36-yarder instead, Penn State's 61-yard drive could have led to a touchdown instead of a 33-yard field goal.

Next Ohio State drive, 18 yards in five plays, Johnston drops in a 45-yarder caught at the 8-yardline. Penn State responds with a four-yard drive and a 39-yard punt that Jalin Marshall returns 16 yards.

Ohio State winds up gaining 23 yards in field position just by winning the punt game. And when the offense did nothing with that, Johnston pinned Penn State at the 2-yardline on his next punt.

That kind of thing happened all game.

Somewhere in the distance, Jim Tressel takes a sip of a microwaved glass of milk and nods approvingly.

Johnston's routine pinning of opponents makes it such an uphill struggle for their offenses. Sure, Ohio State has shown a propensity for allowing a few big plays (and its tackling vs. Penn State left a lot to be desired), but not many offenses will be able to go blow-for-blow with Ohio State when their starting field position averages out at the 13-yard line.

COMPARING HEISMAN FRONTRUNNERS. Ezekiel Elliott and LSU's Leonard Fournette are two of America's best collegiate running backs. Naturally, this means they must be compared.

From ProFootballFocus.com:

Although Elliott isn’t the runner that Fournette is, his overall game might be better. Elliott’s +12.6 rushing grade is some way behind Fournette’s, but with an average of 4.14 yards after contact per attempt and 28 broken tackles, he’s still ranks inside the top five. It’s the little things that stand out about Elliott’s game. He is the only running back to have played 50 percent of snaps with a perfect pass-blocking efficiency rating. Elliott is perfect on his 50 pass blocks. With a 100 percent completion percentage when targeted in the passing game, Elliott is a reliable weapon out of the backfield too. Fournette, meanwhile, is less of a receiving threat but has still broken four tackles on just six receptions (although he does have a drop).

Fournette is a monster (piping hot take, I know), but I'll take Elliott's all-around-game over Fournette's video game-like rampages.

J.T. BARRETT: FUTURE COACH? There's a reason J.T. Barrett is known as a calculating tactician.

Penn State never had a chance.

RACE. Looks like Jesse Owens — a Buckeye we all know and love — is getting his own biopic.

I doubt it'll breach the sadness of Owens' post-Olympic career with much depth, but it will probably be worth the price in admission just to watch a 21st century rendition of Owens shitting on Hitler in Berlin. Definitely an all-time America moment.
