Will there or won't there be college football this fall?

We've tried to avoid focusing on that question too repetitively on Real Pod Wednesdays, as the answer to that question remains as uncertain as ever, but after Michael Drake, Gene Smith and Mike DeWine all commented on the uncertainty over the past week, we felt it was time to have a conversation about what local leaders are saying about the possibility and what needs to happen between now and September for the season to start as scheduled – with or without fans.

After spending the first half-hour of this week's episode on that conversation, we shift gears to talking about Ohio State basketball and what Chris Holtmann had to say on Tuesday, when he held his first teleconference with reporters since the NCAA Tournament was canceled. Of course, the major topic of that teleconference was the transfers of the past month and how Holtmann feels about the current state of the Buckeyes' roster, so we discuss why he still feels good about the team he has and whether he should.

We also discuss the question of who Ohio State's third wide receiver could be in 2020 behind Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson and answer your questions about the best plays from recent editions of The Game, what we missed most from not having a spring game and what motivated us to become sports reporters.
