Jaloni Cambridge is one of four unanimous first-team All-Big Ten selections this season.

Ohio State’s star sophomore point guard earns first-team All-Big Ten honors for the second year in a row. She led the conference with 23.4 points per game during the regular season and also averaged 5.6 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.9 steals per game, leading Ohio State to a 24-6 record.

Cambridge earned unanimous first-team All-Big Ten honors alongside UCLA center Lauren Betts, USC guard Jazzy Davidson and UCLA guard Kiki Rice. Betts, who led the conference with 8.8 rebounds per game while also averaging 16.3 points per game, was named Big Ten Player of the Year as well as Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year.

Her older sister, Kennedy Cambridge, made the Big Ten’s All-Defensive Team after leading the conference with four steals per game – 1.5 more than any other player in the conference – during the regular season. In a career year for the redshirt junior, Cambridge has also averaged 9.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 0.7 blocks per game.

Ohio State center Elsa Lemmilä, who led the Big Ten with 2.2 blocks per game while also grabbing seven rebounds per game during the regular season, also earned All-Defensive Team honors on the media ballot.

Chance Gray, Ohio State’s second-leading scorer this season with 14.6 points per game, earned honorable mention All-Big Ten recognition. Redshirt freshman forward Kylee Kitts, who’s averaged 7.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game for the Buckeyes, earned All-Freshman Team honors from the media.

Tuesday’s award announcements came one day before the start of the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis. As the No. 5 seed in the tournament, Ohio State will begin play in the second round, where they’ll face either No. 12 seed Nebraska or No. 13 seed Indiana at approximately 2:30 p.m. Thursday on Big Ten Network.
