Kitts, who redshirted in her lone season at Florida, brings a full four years of eligibility to Ohio State.
The Kitts File
- Year: Redshirt Freshman
- Size: 6-4
- Pos: Forward/Guard
- School: Florida (2024-25)
- Stats: Did not play in 2024-25
The younger sister of South Carolina star Chloe Kitts, Kylee Kitts was listed as a guard/forward at Florida but is likely to play in the frontcourt for the Buckeyes, who are replacing their entire starting frontcourt from last season of Cotie McMahon, Taylor Thierry and Ajae Petty. At 6-foot-4, Kitts brings plenty of size and athleticism to Ohio State’s frontcourt.
Although she’s unproven at the collegiate level, Kitts will have an opportunity to compete for immediate playing time at Ohio State. Other candidates to play big roles in the frontcourt in 2025-26 include sophomore center Elsa Lemmilä, redshirt junior wing Kennedy Cambridge and redshirt freshman forwards Ella Hobbs and Seini Henry.
Kitts is the second transfer addition for Ohio State this offseason along with former Boston College guard T’yana Todd.
