The Big Ten announced Tuesday that it will unveil its full football schedule on Jan. 27, but the Big Ten Football X account revealed one marquee matchup in the meantime: Indiana vs. Ohio State at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington.

Kickoff times and television networks will be announced at a later date. However, the schedule reveal will confirm the dates for Ohio State’s other eight Big Ten games, including home matchups against Illinois, Maryland, Northwestern, Oregon and Michigan, as well as road trips to Iowa, Nebraska and USC.
The Buckeyes open the season at home against Ball State on Sept. 5, travel to Texas on Sept. 12 and return to Ohio Stadium to host Kent State on Sept. 19. As usual, Ohio State is expected to close the regular season against Michigan on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, which falls on Nov. 28 this year.
Ohio State ranks between No. 1 and No. 6 across various way-too-early top 25 polls for the 2026 college football season, with several of the Buckeyes’ opponents also appearing in the rankings. In one example, Sports Illustrated projects Ohio State to face six teams ranked inside the top 16: No. 6 Oregon and No. 11 Michigan at home, along with road games against No. 4 Texas, No. 5 Indiana, No. 13 USC and No. 16 Iowa.
