It marks the first time Ohio State will have two regular-season home night games in a season since 2022, when the Buckeyes played back-to-back home night games against Toledo and Wisconsin.
Ohio State earned a 37-9 win over Ohio in its first night game of the season two Saturdays ago.
The Buckeyes have won 13 straight games against Minnesota dating back to 2001. Ohio State earned a 37-3 win over the Golden Gophers in the most recent meeting between the teams.
Minnesota holds a 2-1 record so far this season with wins over Buffalo (23-10) and Northwestern State (66-0) and a loss to Cal (27-14). The Golden Gophers open Big Ten play this week at home vs. Rutgers (Noon, Big Ten Network) before their trip to Columbus.
Both Ohio State and Minnesota had a bye this past weekend. Ohio State opens Big Ten play this week with a road game at Washington, which kicks off at 3:30 p.m. on CBS.
