Ohio State has another star receiver in the NFL.
It didn’t take long for Emeka Egbuka to join those ranks, as the former Ohio State wide receiver caught two touchdown passes in his NFL debut.
First, Egbuka scored a 30-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

Then, Egbuka caught a 25-yard touchdown pass on a deep ball over the middle to give the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a 23-20 lead with just 59 seconds remaining in the game.

That catch would prove to be the game-winning touchdown for the Buccaneers when Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo missed a potential game-tying 44-yard field goal wide right in the final seconds.
Egbuka, who the Buccaneers selected with the 19th overall pick in this year’s NFL draft, finished his first regular-season game with four catches for 67 yards along with one run for nine yards.
He was one of three former Ohio State wide receivers to find the end zone during Sunday’s early afternoon slate of NFL games as Egbuka’s former teammates Marvin Harrison Jr. and Garrett Wilson also scored Week 1 touchdowns.
