Ohio State’s 2024 national championship now holds a permanent place inside Ohio Stadium.
Prior to kickoff of Saturday’s season opener vs. Texas, Ohio State unveiled a 2024 banner alongside its 1942, 1954, 1957, 1961, 1968, 1970, 2002 and 2014 banners inside Ohio Stadium, commemorating the ninth national championship in program history.

Most of the seniors from the 2024 national championship run – including quarterback Will Howard, running back TreVeyon Henderson, tight end Gee Scott Jr., offensive linemen Donovan Jackson and Seth McLaughlin, defensive ends Jack Sawyer and JT Tuimoloau, defensive tackles Tyleik Williams and Ty Hamilton, linebacker Cody Simon and safety Lathan Ransom – were in attendance for Saturday’s game and banner unveiling.
