Ohio State defends the Shoe, beats Texas 14-7 in the 2025 season opener.
Ryan Day had a special gift for Lee Corso during the longtime ESPN analyst’s final episode of College GameDay.
As he arrived on set for his interview during Saturday morning’s show at Ohio State, Day presented Corso with his own Ohio State helmet, complete with Buckeye Leaves for every time he’s chosen Ohio State in his pregame headgear pick. Day also gave Corso an extra sticker to add to the helmet if he picks the Buckeyes to beat Texas on Saturday.

“On behalf of everybody at Ohio State, I just want to thank you for everything you've done for college football,” Day told Corso. “This helmet right here has your name on it, but it also has a Buckeye Leaf for every time you chose Ohio State."
“And then here's one more right here,” Day said while handing him an extra sticker, “if you need one later today at noon.”

Corso will close out his final episode of College GameDay by making his final headgear pick just before noon on Saturday inside Ohio Stadium. According to GameDay host Rece Davis, Corso’s final headgear pick will be “different than anything we’ve ever done.”
