A Michigan head coach will be suspended for the second time in three seasons.

According to ESPN, the Wolverines suspended Sherrone Moore for two games this season as part of self-imposed sanctions related to the Connor Stalions advanced scouting scandal. The suspension keeps him off the sidelines in Michigan's third and fourth games of the year against Central Michigan and Nebraska, respectively.

That doesn't necessarily mean that will be the extent of the Wolverines' punishment, though, as Michigan has a hearing set with the NCAA Committee on Infractions on June 6-7, according to Sports Illustrated. ESPN reported there's no guarantee the committee will accept the self-imposed Moore suspension as the full extent of the punishment, or that even if it accepts a two-game suspension, it will allow it to occur in the third our fourth games.

A full resolution to the case from the NCAA is expected sometime before the season begins.

We give our full reactions to the self-imposed penalties and upcoming hearing with the Committee on Infractions for Sherrone Moore and Michigan in a new episode of Press Coverage, which you can watch at the top of the page.
