For Buckeye students, few gifts are better than an exclusive look at the Ohio State football team on the field.
That's exactly what they will receive on April 1, when Ryan Day and the Buckeyes hold their annual Student Appreciation Day. Urban Meyer implemented the tradition, and Day brought it back last year to give students the opportunity to connect with the team and get an up-close view of spring practice.
At 10:30 a.m., shuttle buses from Archer House and the Ohio Union will begin to transport students to the event, which starts at 11:30 a.m. Meijer is again sponsoring Student Appreciation Day, and a valid BuckID is the only requirement to attend.

Last year's event included a meet-and-greet with players, as well as a photo op with the 2022 Rose Bowl Trophy. Full details of this year's activities have yet to be announced, but last year’s Student Appreciation Day provided a chance for students to watch the Buckeyes go head-to-head in team drills, and Ohio State is expected to hold one of its Saturday scrimmages during the 2023 iteration of the event.
