Viewing Guide for Ohio State’s NFL Scouting Combine Workouts at Lucas Oil Stadium

This week, the road to the NFL goes through Indianapolis for eight different Buckeyes.

C.J. Stroud, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Paris Johnson Jr., Dawand Jones, Luke Wypler, Zach Harrison, Ronnie Hickman and Cameron Brown will all work out at the NFL Scouting Combine inside Lucas Oil Stadium over the next four days.

In addition to following along with up-to-date coverage from Eleven Warriors deputy editor and lead football reporter Dan Hope on social media and the 11W website, here's how you can watch the Ohio State players who will participate in all the action from Thursday through Sunday.

NFL Combine Workout Schedule

  • Defensive linemen and linebackers: Thursday at 3 p.m.
  • Defensive backs and special teams: Friday at 3 p.m.
  • Quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends: Saturday at 1 p.m.
  • Offensive linemen and running backs: Sunday at 1 p.m.

Workout Groups For Each Ohio State Player​

  • Defensive linemen: Harrison in Group 2
  • Defensive backs: Brown in Group 1, Hickman in Group 2 
  • Quarterbacks, wide receivers: Stroud and Smith-Njigba in Group 2
  • Offensive linemen: Johnson and Jones in Group 1, Wypler in Group 2

Notable NFL Combine Drills and Workouts

  • 40-yard dash
  • Bench press
  • Vertical jump
  • Broad jump
  • Three-cone drill
  • 20-yard shuttle

Scouts collect player data based on their on-field results in the workouts mentioned above and position-specific drills. Each player will also be measured for their height, weight, hand width, arm length and wingspan on the morning of their respective workouts, while the bench press will be held the day after each player’s workout group does the rest of their drills on the field.

How to Watch the NFL Combine

Buckeye fans can watch Ohio State's draft prospects go through their combine workouts live on NFL Network. Programming can also be streamed through the NFL app and NFL Network app on smartphones, tablets, computers and connected TV devices such as Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Roku and Xbox. Access is available for NFL Network subscribers of participating TV providers, while NFL+ subscribers can also watch a separate “Players Only” stream of each day’s workouts.

Fans are also welcome to attend the on-field workouts at Lucas Oil Stadium. Admission is free, and paid parking surrounds the stadium near downtown Indianapolis.

Next Stop: The NFL draft

The first round of the 2023 NFL draft will occur on April 27 in Kansas City, Missouri, home of the Kansas City Chiefs. All seven rounds of the draft will be broadcast live on ESPN, ABC and NFL Network from April 27-29.
