All seven of Nebraska's losses this season have been by single-digits.

Huskers' head coach Scott Frost addressed the media following his team's latest heartbreaker, a 26-17 home loss to the Buckeyes.

On the Huskers losing their seventh game of the season in his fourth year:

I hate losing more than anybody in that locker room, but I just love being the coach here, I love these kids. They battled through a lot. This is going to pop at Nebraska. It just is. We're doing too many good things right. We have too many good young players. We're putting ourselves in position to win too many games and just not making a play or catching a break.

On the decision to go for the field goal down six in the 4th quarter:

That was a chip shot and (Nebraska kicker Chase Contreraz) been kicking really well. I wish I had it back now obviously you second-guess yourself, but again to try to make it a three-point game that's the right football decision.

On today's opponent:

Ohio State is an elite team and they're going to have a chance to be in the playoff depending on the Michigan and Michigan State games and and (Coach Day) does an unbelievable job with those guys.
